This is the time that we get to know each other, our chance to learn to work together and to trust each other. Consequently each antenatal visit can last up to one hour.

Our first appointment may well be longer as we discuss you particular requirements and discuss your health generally and during this pregnancy.

As your choices and needs are paramount the visits will take place either at your home or where ever is best for you. The time can be made to suit you, including evenings and Saturday mornings.

During each visit, with you permission, I shall perform a full antenatal examination, including checking your blood pressure, feeling the size and position of your baby and listening to that precious heart beat to be sure that all remains well.

Each appointment allows us time to discuss any problems you may be experiencing and talk about any questions you may have. It will also give us time to discuss ways to prepare for labour and help you to prepare your birth plan.
